The craft of Pottery can be quite expensive, the act of selling work can be time consuming and the failures can be quite frustrating so why do it at all ? Quite simply, for me, the craft is all worthwhile when you open the kiln and see the finished work.

I started at school and after a fifteen year break decided to spend some of my hard earned cash and take it up again as a hobby. This page will hopefully be of interest to anyone thinking of starting up a small workshop and I will try to keep adding pages as my skill improves.
